TEAM on the international stage

In November and December TEAM Group Consultingtook part in traditional events of international cooperation: St. Petersburg Partneriat of small and medium-sized business, which acquired a Russian-Finnish status this year. The event was held in city of Turku and confined to Rubicon Forum.

“It is a key event for small and medium- sized business of Nordic countries. Partneriat is supported by the Saint – Petersburg and Turku’s administrations, Saint – Petersburg Foundation for SME Development, projects MOST and Rubicon. All lead partners and experts in the field of Russian – Finnish business’ development take part in the event. Its aim is to stimulate interregional cooperation, arrange conditions for effective dialogue, information swapping and development of professional contacts, which are very important nowadays, at the time of service of economic conditions and slackening the rate of economic growth in Russia and Finland.”

Main part of the Partneriat’s event was a conference held on 19 November, 2015 with participation of Mr. Aleksi Randell, Mayor of Turku city, Mr. Sergey Movchan Saint – Petersburg’s vice-governor, Mr. Valerij Shlamyn, Russian Federation trade representative in Finland, and also more than 200 businessmen of Russia and Finland. Forum’s visitors had a possibility to visit leading companies such economic sectors in Turku region as metalworking, medical technologies, bioeconomy. As a part of the Partneriat the official receptions of the Consul of the Russian Federation in the city Turku and the Turku Major’s Office were made.

On the 25 of November, 2015 in the Saint – Petersburg Four Seasons Lion Palace hotel the first awards ceremony “Exporter of the year” was held. It was organized by the Saint – Petersburg’s government at the discretion of the Saint - Petersburg Foundation for SME Development and aims to encourage and promote the achievements Russian enterprises in non-primary exports.

Aside from the winners the organizers of the ceremony were honored on the stage. With reference on successful implementation of the city projects on the business support, including organization of the Partneriat and contest “Exporter of the year”, but also in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the Saint – Petersburg Foundation for SME Development the letter of gratitude from the St.-Petersburg’s Governor were given to the Chairman Foundation Mr. Sergey Balanev.

In order to strengthen and develop Russia and Finland international economic cooperation Russian-Finish Partneriat would take place on November 19-20th 2015 in Turku (Finland).

In 2015 for the first time the Partneriat would take place abroad in Turku together with the successfully recommended in Finland Rubicon Forum. Business program of Partneriat would include a wide range of round tables on the most perspective fields of the Russian-Finish cooperation. Moreover, the matchmaking area, presentation area, consultation business center, exhibition, as well as the finish companies visits would be arranged for the event participants.
