TEAM took part in an international project to support cycling

On the 26th of September 2019 within the framework of the seminar "Successful entrepreneurship in the field of cross-border Cycling and ecotourism" there was a presentation of Methodological materials for entrepreneurial activities in the field of cross-border Cycling and ecotourism.

The materials were developed by the team under the leadership of TEAM partner E.B. Mironov, commissioned by the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics" (ITMO University), which is the main partner implementing the project "BizCycle" within the framework of the cross-border cooperation Program "Russia-South-Eastern Finland" 2014-2020 (SAF Rus-fin 2020).

Evgeny Mironov, Chairman of the Board of Directors TEAM:

“This work was a continuation of an important area of TEAM 's activity - the creation and / or participation in complex and difficult projects that are important for the development of entrepreneurship and business infrastructure in Russia.

Despite the fact that the project cannot be called large, however, it was of considerable public interest. Cycling in Europe, despite its long-term popularity, is growing at a gigantic rate of more than 20% per year. And the territory of Russia for cyclists is a solid white spot, which conceals a great potential for entrepreneurship.

From a professional point of view, this work was also of certain interest: in addition to legal analysis of the specifics of cycling it was necessary to adapt the text of the presentation to understand the complex legal structures of a simple layman, to make illustrations to the themes of the content, to design a brochure, all this is agreed and, in conclusion, to print.

The presentation of the project and Methodological materials gave an opportunity to get acquainted with the outstanding enthusiast of "Cycling culture" invited to the seminar-Michael Kramer, the developer of one of the European Cycling routes "EuroVelo13-Iron Curtain" , and to outline joint projects of the future. Mr. Kramer is an experienced cyclist, member of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2019, member of the European Green Party, Chairman of the transport and tourism Committee of the European Parliament in 2014-2017.”
